American Community
Survey
The most recent population, housing, economic, and social data available from
the U.S. Census Bureau are included in the American Community Survey (ACS), an
annually-released data set with information obtained from surveys of the
nation’s population. Beginning in December 2008, ACS data will be available for
areas of 20,000 or greater. In 2010, the Census Bureau will release ACS data for
all areas with less than 20,000 people.
